Giving Gals

Type: Giving Circle for young women

Description: A giving circle of like-minded young women coming together to support local nonprofits, build community, and have fun while making a meaningful impact.

Geographic Scope: Central Texas

Membership Structure:

Annual membership: $750

- Social dues: $250 per person (one-time payment)
- One vote: $500
- Additional votes: $500 each (members may purchase additional votes in $500 increments)

Events:

Spring Party: Nonprofit presentations (members only)

Fall Party: Nonprofit presentations (members only)

Grant Giveaway Celebration: February (spouses and guests welcome)

Interest Party: Held annually, open to all prospective members

Philosophy: The community benefits from giving circles in both the short and long term. In the short term, giving circles exponentially grow personal charitable giving and significantly influence the well-being of Central Texas. In the long term, they educate donors on community issues and introduce them to the power and personal reward of philanthropy.
