Austin Junior Forum Grants Program
Overview: Austin Junior Forum provides grant funding to support projects that serve a significant number of women, children, or elderly in the Austin area.
- Organizations must be selected as AJF Community Partners to be eligible for grant funding
- Community Partner status is determined based on applications received before January 31
- Partners are chosen for the membership year immediately following the January 31 deadline (membership year runs June 1 - May 31)
- Note: Organizations applying after January 31 of one calendar year and before January 31 of the next may be considered for volunteer partnership only, and will not be eligible for grant application consideration unless chosen as an AJF Community Partner in the following year's cycle
Eligibility
- Organizations providing support to women, children, and elderly in the Austin area
- Organizations that align with AJF's mission
Focus Areas
- AJF partners with nonprofits through three mechanisms: - Time (volunteerism) - Talent (fundraising through Christmas at the Caswell House events) - Treasure (grants program)
- A portion of Christmas at the Caswell House proceeds help fund the grants program

How to Apply
Application Process
1. Step 1: Submit Community Partner Application
- Organizations must first submit an Austin Junior Forum Community Partner Application
- Deadline: January 31
2. Step 2: Partner Selection
- AJF reviews applications received before January 31
- Selected organizations become AJF Community Partners for the membership year beginning June 1 and ending May 31 of the following year
3. Step 3: Grant Application Invitation
- Selected Community Partners are invited to apply for grant funding
- Grant applications are for projects serving a significant number of women, children, or elderly in the Austin area
