Overview

George R. Davis Fund for Lowville

Geographic Focus: Village and Town of Lowville, Lewis County, NY

Purpose: A permanent philanthropic resource to support projects that will enhance the quality of life in the village and town of Lowville in perpetuity.

Background: Established by George R. Davis upon his death in 2010. Mr. Davis was a long-time Lowville resident and served as Lewis County Judge for more than 20 years.

Eligible Applicants: Non-profit organizations serving the village and town of Lowville

Focus Areas: Programs and projects that enhance quality of life in Lowville (examples include cemetery management, church repairs, library improvements, healthcare facility enhancements, park security, cemetery restoration)
