CitizensNYC Neighborhood Grants (All In / Community Leaders / Neighborhood Business)

Citizens Committee for New York City (CitizensNYC), one of the city's oldest and largest micro-granting organizations (50 years), offers grants of up to $5,000 to support local leaders, community/resident-led groups, and small businesses improving their neighborhoods across the five boroughs. The program runs as two tracks -- Community Leaders Grants (for resident-led community/block groups) and Neighborhood Business Grants (for small businesses) -- under its 'All In Neighborhood Grants' banner, plus office-hours support for applicants. Awards are direct cash grants (up to $5,000) and grantees gain access to CitizensNYC's network; in prior Million-Dollar-Movement rounds the org made $1M available and accepted applications on a rolling basis. Grants fund neighborhood-led quality-of-life projects (block parties, food pantries, environmental resilience, youth programs, community journalism, etc.). Note: a separate Collaborative Impact Grant ($10,000/borough) is a pilot open only to existing grantee partners, not the general public.
