Overview: Supports initiatives that conserve, enhance, and develop Alabama's natural and human resources to strengthen communities statewide.

Geographic Scope: All 67 counties in Alabama through nine regional RC&D Councils. Statewide grants available for projects involving three or more Councils.

Applications accepted: April 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026

Reviews completed before October 1 to ensure approval by fiscal year start

Fiscal year begins: October 1

Steps to Apply:
1. Determine your local RC&D Council (all 67 Alabama counties belong to one of nine Councils)
2. Create account in Foundant software portal (new users) or log in (existing users)
3. Provide a second point of contact when creating account
4. Select the RC&D Council you wish to apply with
5. Submit application through Grantee Portal
6. Reach out to local RC&D Council Office for additional information and guidance

Existing Users: Enter credentials to log in

Already Registered? Contact Grant Administrator to receive username instead of creating duplicate account
