Future Fund (Young Philanthropists Giving Circle)

Overview

The Future Fund is an endowment fund at the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln. The Fund was established in 2006 by the Young Philanthropists giving circle in order to create a permanent grantmaking resource for Sangamon County.

The focus area for the award is childhood development and education.

Eligibility

* The submitting organization must be a:
* 501(c)(3) charitable organization,
* faith-based organization (proposals must benefit all, regardless of religion, and be for a service provided which is not religious in nature),
* public or private school (proposals must be for projects that exceed the school's budget funding), OR
* some government entities or municipalities may be eligible.
* Geographic and demographic limitations: Funds must be used for programs and services primarily assisting residents of Sangamon County, Illinois.

Ineligibility

* The Future Fund grant recipient from the previous year is not eligible to re-apply during the current year.
* Proposals that do not contain all requested items, if applicable, will NOT be considered.
