    Focus Areas: Civic improvement, educational, health and recreation, social services, and arts and cultural benefits

    Eligibility:

  • Requesting organizations must be tax-exempt (IRS Section 501(c)(3)) or eligible to receive such designation

  • Public entities such as schools or governmental institutions are eligible

  • No grants to individuals (except college scholarships through component funds)

  • No grants for deficit financing, annual fund drives, or ongoing operating expenses

  • Grants considered for publicly-supported institutions for start-up programs with seed money

  • No grants to religious organizations for religious purposes

  • Applicants denied funding may not reapply for the same project for 12 months
  • Grant Review: The Grants Committee meets four times per year to review grant requests and make recommendations to the Foundation's Board of Directors for final approval

  • Applications for competitive grants are accepted four times a year
  • Mini-Grants Option:

  • If your request is $1,500 or less, you may be eligible for a Mini-Grant

  • Use separate Mini-Grants Application Form
  • Large Grants ($50,000+):

  • Reviewed one time annually during January

  • Recommended to submit Letter of Intent prior to full application

  • Letter of Intent deadline: December 1st of each year
