Foundation Scholarships - Traditional Program

Geographic Scope: South Eddy County, New Mexico (including Carlsbad, Otis, Loving, Malaga, Queen and surrounding areas)

Target Population: Graduating high school seniors

Purpose: Educational scholarships to help local residents achieve their academic goals.

Award Types

Scholarships are available to students pursuing either:
• Academic degrees at accredited colleges or universities
• Vocational certifications at accredited vocational schools

How to Access

• All scholarships are made available through high school counselors at local public high schools
• Students must contact their high school counselor for:

Key Requirements

• Students must be South Eddy County residents
• Not an immediate family member or direct descendant of Foundation Board members or staff
• All information provided must be truthful
• Must demonstrate eligibility for each specific scholarship
• Failure to maintain eligibility results in forfeiture of funds
