Forest And Freshwater Habitat Preservation- Environment Grant Program

The Jubitz Family Foundation's Forest and Freshwater Habitat Preservation grant program focuses on the conservation and restoration of natural forests and freshwater habitats in the Mount Hood region of Oregon. Through creative environmental initiatives, the program aims to ensure resilient ecosystems that benefit both current and future generations. Eligible organizations must be U.S.-based nonprofits with missions aligned to the foundation's goals, committed to sustainable practices and quantifiable outcomes.

NOTE: Due to our rigorous due diligence to select grantees that align with our values, mission, and goals, grant proposals are invitation-only. If your organization is new to the Jubitz Family Foundation grant process, to be considered, you must first submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI).

Eligibility

The organization is a U.S. based nonprofit as defined by IRS Section 501(c)3 and can provide documentation accordingly.

Ineligibility

The organization is not requesting funding for:Sports, medicine, or health programsBuilding or renovation projectsAnnual or capital campaignsPolitical lobbyingReligious or sectarian purposesPrograms outside of the United States

U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations working in the geographic region of Oregon's Mount Hood or the Columbia River Gorge. New applicants must first submit a Letter of Inquiry.
