Fibrolamellar Research Collaboration Travel Fund

Overview: The Fibrolamellar Research Collaboration Travel Fund supports researchers who need face-to-face collaborative meetings to advance fibrolamellar carcinoma (FLC) research initiatives. The fund was launched following the second international fibrolamellar research summit hosted by the FCF, in response to researcher feedback that in-person meetings are significant catalysts for ongoing collaboration.

    Application Process

    1. Submit grant request: Email a 1-2 paragraph grant request to mmckinney@fibrofoundation.org

    2. Include confirmation and explanations for:
    - Funds are for face-to-face collaborative meetings
    - Meeting must be solely focused on fibrolamellar
    - State the case as to why this meeting is important
    - Institution's nonprofit status

    3. Submit travel budget: Submit travel budget estimate and obtain FCF approval prior to travel

    4. Grantee responsibilities:
    - Responsible for own travel arrangements
    - Submit meeting report within 30 days of travel

    5. Review timeline: FCF team will review the request and reply within 30 days

    Note: FCF has sole discretion as to which organizations or individuals will be granted travel funding.
