Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

Type: Need-based federal grant for undergraduate students

Purpose: Grant for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Complete the FAFSA
  • Demonstrate financial need via FAFSA results
  • Be an enrolled undergraduate student working on a first degree
  • Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
  • Be Pell eligible with the lowest Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
  • Attend at least half-time (6 credit hours) each semester

    Award Basis

  • Grants are awarded based on full-time enrollment and may be prorated according to actual enrollment level
  • Priority given to students with lowest EFC who are Pell-eligible

Application Process

1. Complete the FAFSA (ACC school code is 001346)
2. Complete the FAFSA as soon as possible; it can take up to 6 weeks to process and get aid awarded
3. Academic year starts with the Fall semester
