    Eligibility Requirements

  • Complete the FAFSA
  • Demonstrate financial need via FAFSA results
  • Be a Colorado resident
  • Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
  • Be enrolled in an eligible short-term certificate program that is ineligible for federal Title IV aid
  • Be registered with the Selective Service System (if required)

    Award Basis

  • Grants are awarded based on full-time enrollment and may be prorated according to actual enrollment level
  • Awarding priority for state grants is based on the order in which the student's Financial Aid file is complete

How to Apply

Application Process

1. Complete the FAFSA (ACC school code is 001346)
2. FAFSA must be completed as soon as possible; it can take up to 6 weeks to process and get aid awarded
3. If you cannot apply for federal financial aid, you can apply for state financial aid using the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA)
