Family & Children’s Services of Lebanon County The Family & Children’s Services of Lebanon County Fund of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities provides financial scholarships for Lebanon County residents pursuing higher education degrees in social sciences and human services. The scholarships are granted to students enrolled in accredited schools of advanced education in the fields of medicine, nursing, social work, mental health, and other specialized therapies in the treatment of physical and mental disabilities. Criteria Resident of Lebanon County Financial need Academic aptitude and achievement Must be enrolled as full-time or part-time students in an accredited undergraduate post-secondary educational institution (awards will not be made for graduate studies) EssayExplain your educational and career goals. 300 words maximum. Supplemental documents. This may include a resume, letter(s) of recommendation, transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), or other scholarship-specific documents. Specific requirements are noted in the application.Renewability Recipients of this scholarship may apply again. Students must submit a full application but may be prompted to complete a different essay.The scholarships are for any student, regardless of citizenship or documentation status.You can apply to all the scholarships for which you are eligible and can be selected as a recipient for any or all.To ensure your check is credited to your student account, scholarship award checks are sent directly to the institution.The scholarships are for any educational expenses to pursue educational studies: tuition and fees or books and supplies.Scholarship funds may only be paid to an organization incorporated in the United States.Scholarship recipients planning to study abroad are eligible to receive scholarship payments if the scholarship is being paid to a U.S-based institution.

Ineligibility

Scholarship recipients are not eligible to receive scholarship payments if they enroll directly in a non-U.S.-based institution because scholarship funds cannot be paid to a foreign entity.
