FAITH Scholarships for Academic Excellence

Status: Active

Geographic Scope: United States (nationwide)

Focus Areas: Merit-based scholarships for graduating high school seniors of Hellenic descent and/or Greek Orthodox faith

Program Background:
Each year since its inception in 2004, FAITH celebrates the academic achievements of young leaders within the Greek and Hellenic American community by awarding merit-based scholarships to some of the community's most promising graduating high school seniors from across the country. Recipients join a network of nearly 1,000 existing FAITH Scholars.

Eligibility:

Must be graduating from a public, private, or parochial high school in the United States

Must be embarking to study in an undergraduate degree program in fall 2026 at a 4-year accredited U.S. college or university

Must be of Hellenic descent and/or Greek Orthodox faith

Must be a member of a parish

Award Details:

Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis

Applicants have the option to include financial documents to be considered for additional allocations based on financial need

Award checks made out to recipients and sent to address provided in application

Applicants notified of Review Committee's decision by email in September 2026
