Overview: Research tissue which does not meet suitability criteria for transplant is made available for academic research at no cost to eligible institutions.
- Donated human tissue unsuitable for transplant
- Available for academic research purposes
- Categories of available tissue include: - Tissues with microbial contamination - Tissues with additional findings at autopsy - Tissues with positive or conflicting serological test results

- Research projects must meet scientific appropriateness and design feasibility standards

- Member Institution Researchers: MTF Biologics pays shipping charges
- Non-Member Institution Researchers: Responsible for own shipping charges (must provide Federal Express/UPS account number)

- Research projects are reviewed for scientific appropriateness and feasibility of design prior to tissue shipment approval
- Researcher will be notified upon approval
- Tissue shipment will commence after approval
