Exelon Community Grants Program

The Exelon Community Grants Program aims to support nonprofit organizations and students in local communities through funding initiatives that enhance education, environmental quality, local employment, and access to arts and culture. By prioritizing sustainable improvements and measurable outcomes, Exelon fosters community resilience and empowerment, ensuring that grants are awarded to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations that do not discriminate. This initiative encourages collaboration and strengthens community ties through impactful contributions.

Exelon funds organizations and programs that improve the quality of our environment; promote environmental education, conservation, and preservation; develop cleaner sources of energy; protect endangered species; and beautify neighborhoods.
Enrichment Through Local Vitality
Exelon funds a broad range of organizations and institutions that create local employment opportunities, support families, foster resilience, and strengthen communities.
Equal Access to Arts and Culture
Exelon funds cultural institutions with broad public exposure and programs designed to make arts and culture more accessible to a wider and more diverse audience. Exelon believes that our lives are enriched, and our communities are strengthened through individual interactions and collective experiences with the arts.

Eligibility

Exelon awards grants to nonprofit organizations in the communities where our employees and customers live and work.Exelon provides grants to 501(c)3 organizations, not individuals.Grants are awarded only to organizations that do not discriminate based on religion, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.Grants are only available to organizations that have not received one from Exelon or any subsidiaries within the past 12 months.

Ineligibility

We will not provide support to organizations that, in their constitution or practice, discriminate against a person or group on the basis of age, political affiliation, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, HIV/AIDS status or religious belief.Exelon does not fund capital campaigns, although exceptions may be made on a limited, invitation-only basis.
