Background

Evergreen Climate Innovations pioneered this novel nonprofit venture capital approach, structured as a revolving evergreen fund. The fund addresses the capital gap that exists for early-stage climate tech companies.

Investment Criteria

• Focus Areas: Climate tech across mitigation, adaptation, and other environmental challenges
• Stage: Pre-Seed to Series A
• Geography: Based in Greater Midwest region
• Company Focus: Developing solutions to the climate emergency

Application Process

Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Fall and spring application deadlines mark the beginning of approximately five-month-long investment cycles.
