Communityworks Endowment Fund (Community Foundation Serving West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri)

The Communityworks Endowment Fund supports '501(c)(3) organizations or units of government that advances workforce development, childcare, and early childhood education in Adams, Brown, Hancock, and Pike Counties, IL'. Programs must focus on workforce development and/or early childhood education (including child care). Priority goes to new or expanded and innovative efforts; high-impact programs or projects (not operations) benefiting a significant number of individuals or families; programs that increase the pool of educated professionals or skilled workers; programs that strengthen the quantity and quality of child care settings; and programs that reduce barriers for individuals to enter and remain in the workforce. Applications and awards are both ongoing, so there is no fixed deadline.

A letter of inquiry is required prior to the application process; it should include the amount requested, a brief description of the program or project, the population served, and the anticipated implementation timeline. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and grants are awarded on an ongoing basis.
