COVID-19 Nonprofit Response Fund

Purpose: To support nonprofit organizations impacted by efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus, with priority for those providing vital basic needs services and resources to disproportionately impacted individuals and families.

Eligibility:

Nonprofit organizations

Churches

Schools

Units of government

Located in or significantly serving one or more of the following counties:

- Illinois: Adams, Brown, Hancock, Pike
- Missouri: Clark, Knox, Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Ralls, Shelby

Eligible Uses:

Providing new or altered support services or resources to affected people, organizations, businesses or communities

Continuity of operations support due to increased expenses or decreased revenue (priority for organizations providing healthcare, human/social services, or other basic human needs support)

Priority Order:
1. Organizations providing basic needs services to communities that were already vulnerable before the pandemic, or disproportionately affected by the pandemic
2. Organizations providing any services to vulnerable or disproportionately affected populations
3. Other nonprofit organizations experiencing challenges due to following public health recommendations

Timeline: Evaluated and decisions issued on rolling basis as quickly as possible
