Executive Leadership Program

Overview: A mentorship and professional development program designed specifically for undergraduate women of color to advance their film executive careers in Communications + Marketing, Development, and Distribution.

Geographic Scope: Open to women and non-binary students enrolled in accredited undergraduate HBCU programs

Focus Areas:

  • Program Components:

  • Paired one-on-one mentorship with senior industry executives (mentors selected based on career background and commonalities with fellows)

  • Monthly mentor sessions

  • Quarterly career development workshops in negotiating skills and emotional intelligence

  • Accountability check-ins

  • In-person events (TBD)

  • Networking opportunities with Gotham community members

  • Special Women in Media Salons hosted by Soledad O'Brien
  • Eligibility Criteria:
