Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri Inc. was established in 2009 as a 501(c)3 public charity to help donors support their favorite charities while receiving maximum tax advantage. We serve as a vehicle for charitable giving, helping donors give to the causes they care about. Donor gifts will strengthen nonprofits increasing programs and services. Exchange Bank Scholarship This fund was established by John Nixon to provide academic scholarships to graduating seniors of Mound City High School, MO. John is a 1958 graduate of Mound City High School and was one of the original recipients of the Exchange Bank Scholarship. It is his desire to provide scholarships for deserving young people to further their education just as he did

Eligibility

The students eligible for assistance shall be graduating seniors of Mound City High School, MO.Students must be intending to continue their education through an accredited 2-year college or vocational/technical school to obtain training in a certified skill or trade. If there are no qualifying applicants, students pursuing a degree in nursing at a 2-or-4 year college/university are eligible.
