Ernst Family Scholarship The Ernst Family Scholarship was established in 2018 by Ernst Enterprises, Inc., to financially assist the children of employees with their post-high school education. Students who will enter a college, community college or vocational school for the first time in the fall, as well as students currently enrolled in a degree program at a college or vocational school, may apply. Up to 20, $2,500 scholarships, may be awarded each year. The scholarships are targeted to be awarded proportionally in each Ernst Corporate Division (Georgia, Cobb, Louisville, and Greater Ohio EEI). If there are no applicants from one division, a scholarship will be awarded to the next, most qualified applicant from all divisions. Past scholarship recipients, as well as students who are not accepted initially, may reapply for the scholarship each year. Applicants must be the child of a person who is currently employed on a full-time basis at an Ernst affiliate location in the United States. A child is defined as a natural or adopted child or a dependent stepchild or ward / under legal guardianship of an Ernst employee under the age of 25. The parent on whom the initial application is based must be a current active full-time Ernst employee with at least two years of service on the application date.
