ERMC Foundation Scholarship

Funder: Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) Foundation

Geographic Scope: Eaton Rapids Medical Center service area, Michigan

Purpose: To provide local students with assistance in obtaining a degree in healthcare and to encourage interested students to enter the medical field.

Focus Areas:

Healthcare fields including but not limited to:

- Nursing
- Medical Assistants
- Pharmacists
- Physical Therapists
- Other healthcare-related degrees

Eligibility:

High school seniors

Undergraduate students

Must plan to pursue a degree in a healthcare field

Must be in good academic standing

Must be from the ERMC service area

Award Details:

Amount: $1,000 per recipient

Award Method: Scholarship check issued directly to the educational institution where student is enrolled

Number of Awards: Historically 1-2 recipients per year

Selection Process:

Recipients selected by the Eaton Rapids Medical Center Foundation Scholarship Committee

Program History:

Program began in 2011

Annual awards have been issued since inception
