Emergency Housing Assistance

Geographic Scope: Harney and Malheur Counties, Oregon

Overview: Community in Action serves homeless families and at-risk individuals who have obstacles that prevent or imminently threaten their ability to obtain and/or maintain safe, decent, affordable housing. Services provided may include financial assistance, budget counseling, landlord advocacy, and linkages to community agencies. Emergency Housing Assistance provides short-term emergency shelter and may be provided to households that would otherwise spend the night on the street, in their car, or in a place not meant for habitation.
