Emergency Assistance Fund
Funder: University of Nebraska System
Purpose: To help currently enrolled students and current university employees (faculty and staff) who face financial hardship resulting from emergency or crisis situations.

Qualifying Events
Applicants must have a documented hardship, event, or emergency that has caused financial stress. Examples include:- University of Nebraska System (all campuses)
Geographic Scope
- Committee Structure: The Emergency Assistance Fund is administered by a committee that includes a representative from each NU System campus and a chairperson appointed by the President
- Decision Process: The committee will review applications, determine whether financial assistance will be awarded, and notify applicants of decisions
