ECEAP (Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program)

Program Overview: Free early childhood education program provided by YWCA Spokane for children ages 3 and 4 years old and their families.

Geographic Scope: Greater Spokane area with three locations:

  • Downtown Spokane

  • Medical Lake

  • West Plains (Airway Heights)
  • Focus Areas:

  • Free education

  • Health and nutrition services

  • Family support

  • Advocacy training

  • Parent education

  • Whole family approach to child development
  • Program Benefits: Children in ECEAP are:

  • Healthier when they start kindergarten

  • More likely to graduate from high school and go to college

  • More likely to be employed and earn more as adults

  • Less likely to repeat a grade in school

  • Less likely to become pregnant as a teen or involved in crime
  • Eligibility: Children ages 3 and 4 years old from families in the greater Spokane area.

    - Best time to contact you (Mornings, Early Afternoon, Late Afternoon, Early Evening)

    - Family Information:
    - Number of people in household (required)
    - Household's annual income (required)
    - How you heard about ECEAP (select all that apply: Community Event, Recommended by a Friend, Social Media, Search Engine, Website)

    - Additional Information:
    - Specific questions you want addressed
    - Choice preferences (First Choice, Second Choice, Third Choice)
