In 1937, Sarah Durham established a trust to provide a comfortable home environment for women. Durham Home Inc. operates as a 501c3 organization and oversees the home located at 215 West Main Street, Crawfordsville. The Durham Home Inc. Scholarship Fund was created by the Durham Home Inc. board of directors to honor Shirley O’Neall’s service to the organization for over 50 years. It is their wish to support local women pursuing education to better themselves and their contributions to the community.
