Beatrice Educational Foundation, a nonprofit corporation, was established in 1987, and one of the first education foundations in the State of Nebraska. The Foundation’s purpose is to provide a permanent source of financial support for the expansion and enrichment of learning opportunities for the Beatrice School District. The Foundation manages a $3.8 million Endowment Fund and awards over $55,000 each year in scholarships to Beatrice High School graduating seniors. Dueck, Klaus, Scholarship Two $1,250 scholarships are available to Beatrice High School students wishing to study in a foreign country. This scholarship is available to both high school and college level students. The scholarship can be used for travel expenses to and from the country in which the student is going, tuition and any other education expenses (such as books). Proof of enrollment and receipts must be provided before funds are provided.Eligibility
