Eligibility Requirements

1. Be of Korean heritage 2. Current high-school senior 3. Enrolled in a four-year college or university starting in Fall 2026 4. Resident of New York or New Jersey 5. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher 6. Demonstrated leadership skills or volunteerism in community 7. Family income of or below 400% of the federal poverty level

About Dr. Lee Hoon

Dr. Lee Hoon was a dentist from San Francisco, California, who received his education through scholarship support. He was born in Korea and received his DDS and Ph.D. from Seoul National University before immigrating to the United States in 1973. He was an active member of Korean-American communities and committed to giving back through community service, church pastoral ministry work with elderly Koreans, and providing health and dental care to rural communities in Mexico.
