Don Cargill STEM Scholar Award

Purpose: Annual recognition award honoring K-8 educators in Georgia who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and creativity in classroom teaching, particularly in STEM education.

    About the Organization:
    The Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center (GYSTC) is a private, not-for-profit educational organization established in 1989 designed to increase interest in and enthusiasm for STEM subjects. GYSTC focuses on providing programs to improve the teaching and learning process in STEM education for K-8 teachers and students, specifically in rural and underserved school districts of Georgia.
