Funding Priorities

1. Youth Health and Wellness - Projects and programs that improve youth mental health outcomes (emotional regulation, coping skills) and reduce food insecurity

2. Youth and High School Football - Projects and programs that:
- Increase access to shared practice and game equipment
- Strengthen health and player safety
- Provide educational resources for coaches (certifications, learning tools)
- Support holistic team development for increased player participation

3. Dynamic In and Out of School Programming - Projects and programs that:
- Increase school attendance and engagement
- Provide comprehensive out-of-school time programming focused on youth belonging and engagement

4. Access to Career Pathways - Projects and programs that:
- Increase access to industry-recognized credentials
- Provide high-quality career and technical education
- Offer work-based learning opportunities focused on postsecondary readiness

Eligibility Requirements

  • Geographic: Organizations must provide programs or services in Colorado
  • Structure: Must have 501(c)(3) status or government equivalent
  • Financial: Must operate with programming expense ratio of 80% or higher
  • Application Limit: One application per calendar year (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31)
  • Program Focus: Grant requests must be for specific youth-serving program/project in one of the four funding priority areas
  • Age Group: Serving youth ages 5-24
  • Prior Recipients: Must have submitted grant report via CyberGrants to be eligible to reapply; not guaranteed recurring funding

What is NOT Funded

  • Fundraising support (special event tables, sponsorships, auction items)
  • Administration/operating costs
  • Religious organizations
  • Individuals
  • Endowments or reserve funds
  • Annual memberships
  • Political campaigns
  • Conferences or workshops
  • Group or individual trips
  • Individuals fundraising on behalf of a charity
