DCCF: Ag Field of Interest Grants

The DCCF: Ag Field of Interest Grants support non-profit agricultural programs aimed at enhancing knowledge and involvement in agriculture. These grants, funded by local agricultural producers, prioritize innovative projects that benefit Decatur County residents. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, governmental agencies, and qualified educational institutions. Projects must demonstrate community impact and cannot be for operating deficits, political activities, or religious purposes. Applications are accepted year-round, with a recommendation to apply at least 60 days prior to project commencement.

The Ag Field of Interest Fund was created by and continues to be supported by local ag producers who are interested in furthering interest and knowledge in agriculture. The grants are designed to provide support for non-profit agricultural programming, including educational training programs, youth farm programs and preserving the history of agriculture in Decatur County.

Eligibility

Grantees must be registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the Internal Revenue Code, a governmental agency, or a qualified educational institution.Non-profits that offer agricultural programmingDCCF grants are only awarded to organizations benefiting Decatur County residents. Organizations need not be located in Decatur County, but the program must benefit our community.
