David and Marilyn Krupnick Foundation Grant

The David and Marilyn Krupnick Foundation Grant offers funding to non-profit organizations that benefit children and families in need, focusing on medical care, educational advancement, and social interaction. This Foundation is a private foundation, a 501(c) (3) charitable organization which is continuing its efforts to fulfill its mission statement by providing grants to worthy charitable organizations which most closely match the intentions of its founder’s, the late David and Marilyn Krupnick.
The main purpose of the Foundation is to fund the furtherance of charitable or educational organizations that provide direct benefits to children and families in need of medical care and treatment, assistance in educational and artistic advancement, and furthering social interaction. While preference is to be accorded to organizations which provide benefits to those in the Delaware Valley area it is not a requirement for a grant. The Foundation would also prefer to make grants which relate to a specific project or event of the charity, however, again this is not a requirement. The aim of the Foundation, while quite general, is intended to make possible a program, event, or gift which will provide the most direct benefit to the charity’s intended beneficiaries. Amounts approved annually per grant are at the discretion of the Foundation trustees and over the last several years have averaged $10-$25,000 each.
Grant applications will be accepted through February 28 of each year.

Eligibility

Grant requests are invited from non-profit institutions in the Southern New Jersey geographic area. Organizations must have received an IRS exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Organizations eligible for grants must fit into any one of three categories:Helping the needy in our local communities. This can include supplying food, clothing, and other necessities of life to homeless and women’s shelters, food kitchens, food pantries, etc.Providing funds for education of children of all ages: this can include Jewish as well as secular educational institutions, museums providing educational events, anti-bullying programs, etc.Organization is involved in encouraging or assisting the strengthening of families through counseling, therapy or education.
