• Sports-Based Youth Development, including organizations focused on social emotional learning and safe places to play
• Education, particularly those supporting key educational transition stages, college and career readiness, and persistence in post-secondary education
• Health & Wellness, including organizations addressing food insecurity in Chicago communities

• Total Funding: $28M in grants paid to date (since 1990)
• 2024 Programs Funded: 15 nonprofit organizations
• 2024 Average Grant Size: $64K

• Chicago Public Library - Summer Learning Challenge with STEAM activities
• Chicago Scholars - mentoring academically ambitious students from under-resourced communities
• New Life Centers of Chicagoland - Pan de Vida food distribution
• Urban Initiatives - sports and social-emotional learning programs

Matching Program:
The McCormick Foundation matches all donations at 50% and covers all administration fees, so your entire donation, plus the match will be granted to qualified nonprofit organizations.

What the Foundation Does NOT Fund:

• Programs that would financially benefit the Chicago Cubs
