Overview

The Community Foundation of Noble County At the Community Foundation of Noble County we are passionate about making Noble County an even better place to call home. Since 1991, area residents have been turning to the Community Foundation of Noble County to make their philanthropic giving as effective as possible, as we see it as our mission to serve as a catalyst for positive change. The Community Foundation of Noble County is a public charity 501 (c) 3 entity. As a group of invested community members, we identify local current and emerging issues and stimulate resources to address those needs, helping our region prepare for the future. We then leverage gifts and bequests from generous donors like you to drive positive change through grants in such areas as arts and culture, education, health and human services, civic affairs and other charitable areas of interest. Mission: To improve the quality of life in Noble County by serving as catalyst for positive change, enabling donors to carry out charitable intent, and making grants. Cromwell-Kimmell Lions Club Fund The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for West Noble Seniors as provided through the Cromwell-Kimmell Lions Club. This fund was started by Carol Stults, a 32-year member of the Cromwell-Kimmell Lions Club. Carol inherited some money, so she decided to start a fund at the Noble County Community Foundation. The Cromwell-Kimmell Lion’s Club is very involved in the community. They try to help as many as they can and have fundraisers so that they can give back to the community. Senior Citizen Party, fruit basket give-away, scholarships, collection of old eyeglasses, Bingo Feather Party, and the Stone’s Trace Fundraiser are some of the ways that the Cromwell-Kimmell Lion’s Club reaches out to the community. The Lion’s club also trains children to reach out to their community through the Leo Program (Little Lions). Tina Kreischer and Cindy Anderson have been the two advisors for the Leo Program in the Cromwell-Kimmell, which is where children 12-18 can participate in community outreaches.
