Creative Learning Grant Program

Overview: Manhattan Arts Grant program for artists and organizations providing educational and learning-focused artistic projects for Manhattan communities.

Geographic Scope: Manhattan-based artists, collectives, and organizations

Eligible Applicants:

  • Individual artists

  • Arts organizations

  • Educational organizations

  • Community organizations

    Funding History: In 2019, LMCC awarded over $1.4 million through Manhattan Arts Grants programs to 270+ recipients

  • First-time applicants and returning applicants who have not attended an information session since 2016 are required to attend an information session before applying

    Application Process

    Deadline: September 10 annually at 5:00pm EST

    Required Steps:
    1. Attend an information session (mandatory for first-time applicants and returning applicants who have not attended since 2016)
    2. Creative Learning-specific information sessions offered with in-depth review of guidelines
    3. Complete online application
    4. Submit all required materials by deadline
