Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program (CEAP)

Program Type: Business development grants matching eligible creative entrepreneurs with free consulting services and financial resources

Geographic Scope: Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, and Carbon counties in Pennsylvania

Eligibility:

At least 18 years of age

Current resident of Pennsylvania for at least one year

Annual gross revenue less than $200,000

Creative entrepreneur intending to form a business or operating a business in Pennsylvania in one or more of the following creative industry areas:

- Marketing
- Architecture
- Visual arts and crafts
- Design
- Film and media
- Digital games
- Music and entertainment
- Publishing

Priority Focus:

Socially or economically disadvantaged creative entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs located in and whose work benefits low-income communities (as defined by the Small Business Administration)

Eligible Uses of Funds:

Business formation or development activities including:

- Research and development
- Purchase of supplies and equipment
- Professional and business development fees

Program Details:

Applications accepted on a rolling basis

Matches eligible creative entrepreneurs with existing, free, local small business consulting services

Funded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA), a state agency under the Office of the Governor

Administered regionally by the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA)

The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation serves as the Pennsylvania Region 5 Partner in the Arts
