Overview: Competitive allocation process for organizations identified as having the potential to make the greatest difference in the communities served by UWMC.
Eligibility: Programs currently funded by UWMC, or those that have been deemed eligible for funds through the new program application process.

Final Decision: All comments and recommendations submitted to UWMC's Board of Directors for final funding decisions.

How to Apply
Application Process
1. Submit Community Investment grant application (available to currently funded programs or those deemed eligible through new program application)
2. Community member volunteer panels review applications in multi-step process:
- Review all application materials
- Conduct interview panel with program applicants
- Complete evaluation on performance of applicants
- Discuss funding options and recommendations
3. Volunteer comments and recommendations submitted to UWMC Board of Directors
4. Board makes final funding decisions
