Grants advance three interconnected impact areas aligned with Rise United 2030 goals:
- Goal: Help more students graduate high school prepared to succeed in college or career
- Key Levers: - Increase to 90% the number of Quad Cities students reading on grade level by third grade - Double the achievement rate for Black and Hispanic students to close the racial gap
- Strategies Include: Early childhood development, academic success, success after high school
Education
- Goal: Quad Cities families are financially stable
- Key Lever: Increase by 20% the number of Quad Cities young adults who earn a living wage
- Strategies Include: Stabilization services and basic needs, career pathways, financial capability
Income
- Goal: Quad Citizens are living happy, productive, healthy lives
- Key Lever: Increase to 95% the number of Quad Citizens who have routine access to affordable health care
- Strategies Include: Primary and clinical care, behavioral and mental health, health promotion
