Focus Areas

UWIRC is accepting proposals in the following Education priority areas:

Early Learning

• All children are nurtured by caregivers who promote early learning and development to prepare them for kindergarten

School and Academic Success

• All children succeed and achieve in school
• Students will continue to stay on track for High School Readiness

Graduate for Success

• Students graduate high school on time, prepared for continuing education, work, and life

Eligibility

• Applicants: Nonprofit organizations and programs serving Indian River County residents
• Requirements: Must demonstrate measurable participant progress based on outcomes and indicators set forth by UWIRC and its Vision Councils
• Organization Standards: Partner organizations must meet stringent eligibility criteria and report on program metrics semi-annually
• Financial Accountability: Organizations receiving United Way funds must demonstrate highest financial transparency and accountability

Letter of Intent (LOI) submission required first, followed by full application if approved
