Community Impact Fund

Overview: The Community Foundation's competitive grantmaking process for local nonprofit organizations. It is a responsive, open application process with one annual deadline.

Geographic Scope: Serves nonprofits located in or providing services to residents in Bandera, Blanco, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Real, and Uvalde counties in Texas.

  • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Organization must be located in or providing services to residents in the eligible counties

  • Grant request must fall within one of the four focus areas

  • Must be classified as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

  • Must have a minimum of 12 months of operating history after 501(c)(3) determination

  • Financial Statement Requirements:

  • - Annual operating budget below $350,000: most recently completed fiscal year financial statements required
    - Annual operating budget $350,000–$749,999: recently reviewed financial statements issued by a CPA within the last 36 months required
    - Annual operating budget over $750,000: recently audited financial statements issued by a CPA within the last 36 months required
  • 100% of Board of Directors must have made a cash donation in the last fiscal year

  • Must have filed follow-up reports for any previous Community Impact Fund grants
