Organizations must first gain permission to apply by contacting Juli Smith, Scholarships and Grants Manager, at jsmith@commfoun.com or (937) 497-7800; you then receive a code that opens the proposal in the online system. Fall cycle: preliminary proposal opens July 1, preliminary proposal deadline August 15, full proposal deadline September 30, awarded the last week of October. (Spring cycle: opens January 2, preliminary February 15, full March 31, awarded the last week of April.) If a deadline falls on a weekend it moves to the preceding business day. Awards are paid 80% on a signed letter of acceptance and 20% after the Grant Evaluation Report.
