Overview: Annual grants to support projects and events that improve the quality of life in the Yerba Buena neighborhood through cultural, arts, and small business initiatives.

Geographic Scope

• Location: Yerba Buena neighborhood, San Francisco, CA (several blocks around Yerba Buena Gardens, roughly Second to Fifth and Market to Perry streets)
• Activity Period: Funded activities must take place between July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027

Grant Types

• Mini-Grants: $1,000 - $5,000
• Full Grants: Up to $25,000

Background

Since 2008, Yerba Buena Partnership has granted over $2.5 million to district organizations. The Community Benefit Fund is unique among the city's community benefit districts. Recent awards included $161,000 to 16 organizations in 2025 and $90,500 in 2024. The Partnership's Board of Directors awards new grants annually.
