Overview: Micro-grants program to fund individuals or organizations with project plans focused on placemaking and public art that help activate downtown and drive support of downtown districts and businesses.

Funding History

• Round 1 (2020): Nearly $40,000 funded; 42 applications received totaling over $100,000 in requests. Initially planned to fund up to $20,000, but board approved additional $20,000 due to quality of requests. Projects took place July-October 2020.
• Round 2 (2021): $30,000 funded in grants. Projects took place July-October 2021.

Program Status

Program has been run in at least two rounds (2020-2021). Current status and future rounds unknown.
