Overview

Allied Arts of Oklahoma's Capacity-Building program helps nonprofit arts and cultural organizations grow stronger to fulfill their missions. Organizations may apply for up to $5,000 with no matching component, and Allied Arts will consider fully funding project requests. Funded projects span organizational training, board development, volunteer management, strategic planning, and other professional-development opportunities (priority for professional development within Oklahoma and the surrounding region); priority is given to projects that produce tangible results and impact. An organization with an annual operating budget of $500,000 or more is limited to one request per Allied Arts fiscal year. Eligibility mirrors the grants program: a 501(c)(3) arts nonprofit operational at least three years, headquartered in the central Oklahoma 10-county area, with current financials, an active board, and Oklahoma charitable registration. Submission of a proposal does not guarantee funding; funds are limited.

How to Apply

Submit the Capacity-Building application form by one of the program's two annual deadlines: Summer cycle August 4, 2026, or Winter cycle December 11, 2026. Contact jennifer.bryan@alliedartsokc.com for details.
