Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Summer Intensive Program - 12-Week

Program Type: Professional education program for chaplaincy

Duration: 12 weeks, 1 unit of CPE

Start Date: Early June to August

• Clinical hours available through Mercy hospitals in Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas

• Bachelor's degree required, OR
• Other professional designation such as RN
• Sufficient theological background required

Experience:

• Faith group or community leadership experience expected

Work Authorization:

• Must be fully authorized to work and/or study in chosen jurisdiction when applying
• Mercy does not provide visa sponsorship

   • Application fee: $50 (non-refundable)
2. Selection and Enrollment
   • Upon selection, place $100 non-refundable holding fee (deducted from tuition)
   • Holding fee: $100 (non-refundable)
3. Financial Arrangements
   • Tuition: $650 per unit
   • Payment due at beginning of respective unit
   • Financial payment plans may be arranged in advance with CPE program coordinator and faculty approval
4. Required Prerequisites Before Application
   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional designation (RN, etc.)
   • Sufficient theological background
   • Faith group or community leadership experience
   • Verify work authorization in jurisdiction
