Established in honor of Christopher Gargiulo, a former cancer patient, this fund provides emergency financial assistance to Salem Health staff members facing unexpected financial crises.

Background: Christopher Gargiulo was diagnosed with cancer at a young age. During his treatment and recovery, he was inspired by healthcare workers who went above and beyond to provide compassionate care. This fund was established in partnership with the Sternglanz Foundation, a private foundation based in California, to extend this spirit of compassion to Salem Health employees during their own challenging times.
