WFSDallas provides financial assistance to eligible families to reduce the burden of child care costs and support access to quality early childhood education.

Geographic Scope: Dallas County, Texas

Target Population: Eligible families with children requiring child care

• Financial Assistance: Direct financial aid to eligible families for child care costs
• Texas Rising Star Support: Promotes participation in the voluntary, quality-based rating system for early childhood education providers
• Resource and Referral Services: Comprehensive system helping parents find and choose quality child care options
• Parental Support and Education: Workshops and resources on nutritional health, effective parenting strategies, and child development
• Staff and Educator Development: Professional development opportunities for child care providers to enhance teaching skills
• Educational Resources: Access to resources and tools supporting curriculum implementation and operations at child care centers
