Application Process

1. Mandatory Applicant Meeting:
- Attendance required for potential applicants
- Meeting date announced in RFP release notice
- Provides details about grant requirements and application process

2. Letter of Intent to Apply:
- Due date: Typically one week after RFP release (e.g., August 7, 2017)
- Submit on organizational letterhead
- Scanned copy acceptable but original required in person
- Deliver to Mid Florida Homeless Coalition at 104 E Dampier Street, Inverness, FL 34450
- May also email scanned copy to mfhcopeningdoors@gmail.com

3. Submit Full Proposal:
- Deadline: Typically 3 weeks after RFP release (e.g., August 22, 2017 by 5:00 PM)
- Delivery method:
- In person at 104 E Dampier Street, Inverness, FL 34450
- OR mail to same address
- Required materials:
- One Original (clearly marked as original)
- One Copy

4. Questions:

5. Review and Selection:
- Grant Review and Ranking Committee reviews all proposals
- Selection occurs within 7-10 days after deadline

6. Grant Agreement Timeline:
- Grant amendment agreement with DCF becomes effective (typically mid-September)
- Grant agreement between MFHC and sub-recipients becomes effective (typically late September)
