Overview

It is a charitable, philanthropic fund; which is to say, it grants small amounts of money to recognized non-profit organizations for the purpose of preserving and enriching Yiddishkeit. The Chaim Schwartz Foundation has no paid staff and a minimal operating budget, and its only activity is to disburse monies through its small grants program. The Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Dedicated to preserving and enriching Yiddishkeit that is, yiddish language culture, theater and art.
